Showing here is a short hand drawn and painted animation. Part of my rational has been to present a medium where basic art skills of drawing and painting can exist in a digital environment. This work was created using a simple program but could  equally have been made taking single shots in a photo program. The use of cut out images gives an interesting quality that reflects the work of early European animators such as Lottie Reiniger. The use of paper images can create shadow and a three dimensional effect impossible with the use of cell painted work, as was made by Disney.​
