Introduction

 

This website is part of my research into Digital Narratives and the way composition, the way the work is created and responds in balance and structure as a visual medium, is integral when working in digital mediums. This website has been made to be a presentation that described the initial stages of my research process and specifically the difficulties I found when using practice as the research methodology. A research methodology needs structure, logical direction and a theoretical basis. My work became unstructured, missing a logical direction and with a vast theoretical basis that finally overpowered the direction I was taking. This was not helped by using practice as a research methodology.
