Pedagogy

 

Nelson acknowledges that he brings the so-called old world together with the new world of practice to establish this model for practice as research.  Nelson suggests that PaR submission should include:

 

•             A product

•             Documentation of process (sketchbook, photographs etc.)

•             Complimentary writing - locating practicing in influence.

 

Nelson sets the practice at the centre; all else emerges from this centre. This is where I had difficulties from the beginning. Practice was an add-on an example not the essential central point. Therefore I have created this presentation on a website with my work on every page. Each piece of work on the left is part of the writing on the right; it is a reflection or an example like a chart that I am seeking to understand.
